Mobius is a visual communications agency. We use communication in all its forms to stimulate behaviour, social and global change. Our work supports environmental improvement, societal and economic reform. We’ve won awards and plaudits but the ultimate accolade is in the positive outcomes our work helps to attain.
Photography is a vital part of the communication mix and a key service provided by The Mobius Agency. We capture images that don’t just look nice but support the wider narrative, tell stories and shape opinions for the good.
We work primarily with public sector organisations; local and national governments, NGOs, international development institutions and other non-profit entities, as well as commercial businesses that support these organisations. The photos we take feed into projects that are focused upon stimulating behavioural, social and global change.
Our team of in-house photographers have a passion to inspire with the photos we take. It’s at the heart of our philosophy and its impact is demonstrated with a portfolio of long-standing clients across the UK and around the world.
MEET The Team
Stephen W Bates
Principal photographer and Art Director
Stephen's first professional photo assignment was in 1988; for the Ford Motor Company who required images showing their involvement in motorsport; the images adorning the backdrop of dealers across Europe. Since then, Stephen has shot and art directed photography in over 25 countries for leading organisations, campaigns and projects. Stephen is a visual storyteller, able to convey often complex messages within a single shot.
Jono hall
Associate Photographer
Jono cut his photographic teeth on Cruise Liners, snapping happy holidaymakers. He was too good for that and began shooting for the cruise company's marketing endeavours. That was the mid 90s and since then has gone on to forge a reputation as a master of imagery within the field of commercial photography, working alongside Stephen for the past 20 years.. A key skill is his ability to take a bland subject and turn it into a visual masterpiece.
John honed his skills as resident photographer within several leading Advertising Agencies during the 80s and 90s; his work appearing across many national campaigns. During the early 00s, John became an in-demand wedding photographer before returning to the commercial side focusing upon people, place and products.
