Calling independent photographers


The Mobius team gets around but we can't be in two places at once. For this reason, we have a roster of trusted professional photographers who we can call upon for assignments as and when need arrises. If you'd like to join this roster, we'd love to hear from you. A few caveats:


  • You need to be a working professional photographer
  • You'll need a portfolio of excellence and glowing references
  • You'll need to be using pro-gear; ideally full-frame cameras and pro glass
  • You'll need to be insured (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity)
  • You'll be happy to work to a brief and sometimes, tight deadlines
  • You'll be flexible on pricing
  • And it will help if you're nice and likeable!


In the UK, we're particularly keen to hear from photographers in the South West, Midlands, North and North East. Internationally, get in touch if you're a photographer in The Balkans Region, East Africa and the Caribbean.


We'll take it as a given you'll know how to properly expose and compose a shot. What we're really looking for are photographers that can use an image to tell a story, be a bit creative and know when to disrupt convention.

our copyright policy

Copyright is automatically assigned to the originator of original content. Our policy is that when our fees are paid by the client, that copyright is passed to the client in perpetuity. We retain the right to use any photograph we take to promote our services on our websites, social media, proposals and printed materials, unless otherwise requested by the client.

FILE TYPES

We usually shoot in RAW format which provides an uncompressed image file affording great latitude in post production. The images we provide clients are JPEG to a size roughly 2000 x 1400 px. These are suitable for all digital applications such as social media, litho and digital printing up to A1 in size. We can provide images in larger sizes on request as well as Tiff and PSD files.

DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY

We use drones as part of our arsenal of equipment. Drones are subject to tightly enforced CAA legislation regarding where and how they can be used. When considering a brief that includes the need for drone photography, we recommend consulting with us early as it may not be possible to fly in some areas or require extended time to arrange permissions to do so.

PRIVACY

The law permits that photographs may be taken of any person of any age for any legal purpose providing both the person or people and the photographer are both in public places. There is no legal obligation to obtain prior permission or consent to use the photographs taken. However, when we are taking photographs in public places we do so mindful of the need to protect an individual's privacy and strive to minimise the level of identifiable features contained within the shots. Where this is unavoidable or necessary, we will seek to obtain signed consent.
